It is the council's duty of care to reduce pollution and traffic from built-up areas.
Putting the Metrobus along the Stoke Gifford By-Pass passes that criteria.
Putting the Metrobus along Hatchet Road, fails.
It's not difficult to see that the proposed Hatchet Road route is a failure in every aspect. That's why the Metrobus should not go down Hatchet Road
It is also why the By-Pass MUST be dual-carriageway and allow two lanes of traffic to relieve pollution in Stoke Gifford.
