Mini-Roundabout Disease

They’re multiplying!
Hatchet Road/Brierly Furlong. A mix of pedestrian crossings and mini-roundabouts.
These are what cause major traffic disruptions in Stoke Gifford.
Yes there is also too much traffic for the road, but add to that these conflicts and you increase the problem.

As the road is 30mph (for no reason), then why not make the pelican crossing zebra crossings (the black/white striped ones). This will free up traffic flows and allow people to cross almost immediately rather than have to wait ages.
The roundabouts! These are a disaster. Hatchet Road/Brierly Furlong are bus routes. The roundabouts give priority to the side roads (to the right). Take these out, as they were before.
What will then happen?
Well, as in all aspects of kind driving, as it does in Bradley Stoke and Winterbourne, drivers will let other drivers out, or in. This used to happen and the flow was freer. So take out these stupid disasters, and let’s be honest, ugly messes. Get the road back to a road with give way junctions, free-flowing and let politeness rule again.
Easy!
